The Hotel

Originally built in 1888 for the tutor of the sons of Their Royal Highnesses, Empress Augusta Victoria and Emperor Wilhelm II, this historic villa became Plön’s first hotel in 1920. In tribute to its golden era, we are breathing new life into this elegant retreat with a meticulous restoration in the timeless elegant charm of Art Nouveau.

Probably the most cozy accommodation in northern Germany - great value for money! Everything!
An exceptionally nice place! Small hotel (originally B&B), decorated in 1920s style. There is so much consideration in the decor, the breakfast cover and lots of the small details. Beautifully located by the lake. And a hostess like Rita is an unusually gem - she welcomed us in the door and gave us a hug when we left. Quite simply fantastic, highly recommended!

Ett underbart hotell med en alldeles underbar frukost, både för kroppen och sinnet. Personlig service med servering av hemgjorda kvalitetsprodukter. Gott och nyttigt! Hela huset, från 1888, gav en sådan extra charm till vistelsen. Mycket trevligt bemötande och omhändertagande. Underbart trevlig, omhändertagande, rolig och kunnig värdinna. Hela personalstaben var fantastiska. Ett hotell som verkligen är något utöver det vanliga, med stor härlig trädgård och egen badbrygga nere vid sjön. Hit kommer vi att återvända!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, z.B. selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Säfte, Mandelmus und vieles mehr. Der gedeckte Frühstückstisch war eine Augenweide, alles sehr liebevoll angerichtet.

Einfach alles. Das Zimmer ist richtig schön sauber und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Das Hotel gleicht einem Haus im Märchen . Besonders gut gefallen hat mir der Garten Mit dem Steg zum See. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Alles hat mir gefallen
